Aisha Jamila is an American actress best famous for her performances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played her role as Anna, as seen in Assault on Precinct 13 She was first recognized for her role in the biographical documentary All the Way. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for release by the mid-year of 2019. His father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017 and the mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. Aditya Rai, her older brother, is a merchant marine engineer. The elder brother of Bachchan and her mother were co-producers of Dil Ka Rishta. The family moved to Mumbai in the city, where she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she completed her intermediate schooling for one year, before she was admitted to D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she was awarded a 99% mark in the H.S.C. exams. As a teenager she spent five years studying classical music as well as dancing. Her favourite study was Zoology. Bachchan studied architecture when she was awarded the title of Miss World 1994. The title helped her get into the model industry. She was awarded lucrative contracts for Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc., along with the L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. She starred in two acclaimed parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hojaia. Bachchan rose to prominence during The New Bollywood because both films transformed the Bollywood film structure to the upside. Through her stunning portrayal of the betrayed lover Paro of Devdas (2002) one of the most loved Bollywood films and the first to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film that she won praise. It is a thriller that is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. In the following year, she was named the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan appeared as Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Her star-power and elegance were brought to the first English-language major film. The return of Bachchan to Bollywood was in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked A True Story (2006). She married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most powerful individuals to one another.
