Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress , best known for her role in 24 and for the voice work that she did for Tess in Naughty Dog’s game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. She competed in Irish dance throughout her childhood as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career with appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to appearances as a guest star on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007 she had the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital. She has also performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also an episode regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching was to be cast in the role of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
